Sometimes, the smallest adjustments make the biggest difference. Recently, our team tackled a wiring issue that had been slowing things down in a client's media booth. Here’s what we did to get things back on track:
We reterminated the ethernet at both ends—from the main network closet to the media booth. After testing the connection, we were happy to confirm it was running at Gigabit speeds! This resolved the connectivity issues that had been causing disruptions. The Wi-Fi was also back to performing as expected, giving everyone the reliable access they needed.
We also installed a new network switch and mapped the ports exclusively for media use, making it seamless to connect anything to the media network. Additionally, we configured the ports to ensure that the media network was pushed through, except for the ones connected to another switch or the access points.
Our goal is always to make technology work better for you—because when your network flows, so does your productivity!
