One of our clients hit a snag—printing and copying worked just fine, but the scanner refused to send scans, throwing an error: “Authentication with the destination has failed. Check settings.” Not exactly ideal when you’re trying to keep things moving!
While many IT issues can be handled remotely, printers are a different beast. Since they’re connected to multiple computers but have their own internal settings, troubleshooting often requires hands-on work. This was one of those cases, so our tech headed onsite to tackle the problem.
After re-entering the scanner’s sending credentials and getting everything properly reconnected, the client was back in action—printing, copying, and scanning without a hitch. No more workflow disruptions, just smooth sailing from here on out!
