We're excited to bring you another update on our ongoing Wired for Success project! After successfully running new network wiring and installing the network rack and patch panels, our techs have now moved on to the next crucial phase: terminating cables and testing those terminations.
What does it mean to terminate a cable? Terminating a cable involves attaching a connector to the end of each network cable, allowing it to be connected to network devices such as switches, routers, or patch panels. This process ensures that the cables can transmit data effectively and reliably.
Our team has been working to ensure every cable is properly terminated (and there are a lot!) and thoroughly tested to guarantee peak performance and reliability. This phase is vital in transforming a web of wires into a fully operational, high-speed network infrastructure.
With each step, we’re getting closer to completing this transformative project. Stay tuned for more updates as we inch closer to completing this project!
