When you’re dealing with a space this massive, ensuring reliable internet access everywhere isn’t just a goal—it’s a necessity. That’s why this phase of the Wired for Takeoff project focused on laying the foundation for seamless connectivity throughout the facility.
At the heart of this setup are the network cabinets, which serve as the central hubs where all wiring comes together. These cabinets house the switches, routers, and structured cabling that keep everything running smoothly, ensuring a strong and stable connection across the entire network.
Strategically placed wireless access points (APs) extend that connectivity to every corner, eliminating dead zones and providing fast, consistent coverage no matter where you are in the building. With a space this large, careful planning was key—placing APs too far apart could lead to weak signals, while overcrowding them could cause interference. Finding the perfect balance ensures smooth performance, whether it's for workstations, mobile devices, or future smart technology integrations.
With thousands of feet of cable running behind the scenes, this is where all the pieces start coming together. You can see the progress in action, with Brad hard at work making sure every connection is clean, structured, and built to last.
Stay tuned as we continue pushing full speed ahead!
